Acceleration Bands

The Acceleration Bands are plotted around a Simple Moving Average.
The Simple Moving Averages is the midpoint of the Acceleration Bands and the upper and lower bands are of equal distance from this midpoint.
In Technical Analysis, the Acceleration Bands can be used to measure the acceleration of an instrument over a period of time.
If the price moves and stay out of the Acceleration Bands, then the price is accelerating.
The Acceleration Bands indicator was developed by Price Headley.
